Thank you for sharing this 🎉🎉🎉
Le niveau d'engagement et de participation active dans ce fil de discussion est vraiment impressionnant. C'est comme faire partie d'une symphonie intellectuelle.💞
everyone ask for five+ years of experice :C
Bro I used heath adams template for my resume and on 20 job applications I got one call back cuz turned out this company calls back everyone who applied...
Sounds like this narrator is scared now that he won't be able to acquire the CASP+ after all. Now onto a much harder to pass new exam, SecurityX. Resume's do not validate one's knowledge, that's for sure!
you must be really smart because you are the only person to explain this shit in a way that i can understand you earned a sub and a like.
UGHHH YOURE SO CUTE WITH THAT SPIKED HAIR UGHHH YAAAAS TEACH ME DAT IT STUFF
I subscribed ❤ can u or someone help me lol so far I bombed two of my very first interviews one phone and one on video last Tuesday ! I was so prepared or so I thought! Both positions were for customer service representative. Both questions I got were give an example of when your computer malfunctioned and what you did to remedy it. I just went blank and said I called my tech savvy friend OMG WHY DID I SAY THAT LOL I ruined my chances and I need a job asap can u give me a simple example please for next time ❤ I’d appreciate it more than anything
I was able to pivot to a good IT business analyst role from a non technical position. The problem is I am not learning enough technical skills in my current role to grow into another IT position. Now I feel stuck
I started off thinking I wouldn’t like this video, but I really enjoy the direction you went. Even the itf is a good confidence builder. It may not make you job ready but it makes you want to get the next one because you know you can learn the material.
Thank you for the information.
Only Law, Engineering, and Medicine. Liberal arts degrees are useless.
I was 8 when this happend and i live really close to this bug phrase to officer Dallas for saving the day and congrats to him for getting his name named after something
Im 40 and looking for a career change . Im working currently as a truck driver , im drained and tired .. i need to work from home as an IT specialist ,and have more time and energy for my family.. i think this is the best route to go for the future.. thanks brother, this video gave me lots of hope and inspiration. I appreciate you ..
When I was a sys admin I loved answer questions from my team members. Maybe I did the thing differently than they’ve seen before. Or maybe they know a better way to
The best line I heard from one of my old coworkers who has been in the field for 20 years was, "I would rather you ask a question that sounds dumb than to make a huge mistake by winging it."
Take this to heart when working on IT.
I was super nervous about asking questions for fear of "sounding dumb" but I also found that they appreciated my willingness to ask for help, displaying maturity and professionalism. A wise man once said "You don't know because you don't ask". Pretty sure he was talking to someone in I.T. 😅😎
New subscriber and thanks for this information. I’m thinking about being a IT
How much does the programs cost?
Your UA-cam shorts have been largely useless lately
Thank you for the tip, feels great to hear this while entering the field.
Im an incoming 2nd year IT student and as the semester approaches, I need to learn everything from the start cuz I did not understand most of the lessons from school and I completwly forgot the other parts. So I genuinely want to start all over again since I wasn't that serious when I chose this course at first but now I think I'm starting to like it I guess. I'll start off by doing what you said. Godbless to you sir and to me as well and to everyone who's starting this path.
You should've ended the video at 0:30 lol
What cloud jobs did you have in mind?
Money is my interest. I'm a fast learner and I have no gag reflex.
What are the jobs?
What is a decent computer to buy that would be compatible with starting these IT classes
Whats your point? IT was and is still top paying job. My niece fresh out of a mid level university in 2022 got her first entry position at 68K. Not very high but certainly not bad at all. Were you looking for 100K++?
So Supply and demand works
Totally agree.
Here because I got asked how to troubleshoot a printer in an interview and went completely blank with no idea what to say. Pretty sure I won't be getting that job. *sigh*...always hated learning about printers during my IT courses
What the f should we do then ...? 😭 What are you implying?
I got my Sec+ and went from $15 to $30 an hour. You know what else I had? 2 yrs of verifiable experience working in IT. I also took a resume and interview class and made sure I was in an area where there were jobs in the field.
💯
THANK YOU!!
Well said
When it comes to tech, the only requirement is aptitude. If you can learn it, you can do it regardless of age.
literally every IT tech ik and watch hates printers and printer troubleshooting
Do the certs expire?what is comptia, it's not a vendor right?
Ok, but...does it run D00M?
Good Stuff
social anxiety sucks your not unapproachable they are a dick you just earned a subscriber
Thank you for being transparent about this. I too am weary of getting a lot of attention when that wasn't the intention.
I.T doesn’t even make that much
SKIP? i cant even get a helpdesk job
2 year degree, began work at hospital, my first year I made min wage and worked in help desk. Now I have been at said hospital for 7 years, $44.13 per hour. So roughly with on call, just south of $100,000 per year, which I feel pretty good about being as I am 27 years old, some people I went to high school with are just figuring out their life. I work in networking department that helps maintain the system which is full of clinics and hospitals. I live in a poor southern state. So, I am now considering moving into a larger area now I know more than most starting out. I work from home 4 out of 5 days per week, Fridays I go into office and handle on site work. Guys at the top in our system earn over $200,000 per year as it's rumored a handful have gone over the $100 per hour mark. Lazy people are stuck at the bottom in our system. I put int the extra effort, I am up at 2am handling change controls, if something goes down, I haul my butt outta bed and drive 40 minutes to ensure it's back online. I work from home, but when I am at my work PC I am going hard. I do take breaks and go outside and do some gardening and help my wife with our toddler but for most part I am getting as much done everyday as possible. A lot of days I am working 7am until 6pm, it just depends on what needs to get done ASAP. I am wanting to move up and earn more money I am not satisfied with what I currently make, and I want to be in the $60s per hour, the thing with IT that's doable you just need work ethic.
